1 Jun 2021 – University College of Yayasan Pahang (UCYP) and Kolej Yayasan Pahang (KYP) are the first higher education institution in Malaysia that received ISO 37001 2016 Certificate of Recognition: Anti-Bribery or Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) by SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd. This system is used as a guideline for the organizations in preventing, tracking and taking action on corruption activities by developing and applying anti-corruption policies, adequate procedures and complying with anti-corruption laws.

The Vice Chancellor of UCYP, Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Ahmad bin Haji Zainuddin who is also the Chief Executive of KYP Education Sdn. Bhd. (KESB) said that the recognition given portrays the credibility and quality of the UCYP & KYP Education brand that practice integrity at the highest level.  “The recognition through this certification provides a positive impact on UCYP & KYP to keep on expanding while applying an effective management system on integrity”.

According to Renee Faizura Abdul Rajak, KESB Integrity Officer, this recognition shows the commitment by all UCYP and KYP employees in order to ensure that both educational institutions are always moving forward while applying the guidelines and procedures with the condition set by prioritizing quality and integrity in the service for the sake of communities and organizations.
