3 June 2021 -The i-Engage program held by UCYP was conducted specifically for new students of May 2021 Session. The program was held on ZOOM platform with the presence of UCYP Vice Chancellor, Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Bin Haji Zainuddin.
This program is a part of the university’s initiative through the Deputy Vice Chancellor Office (Student Development & Society Engagement) in order to provide information and exposure needed for the new students. The eight-day program is compulsory to equip them with academic and non-academic information requirements as well as guidelines for effective online learning.
In the session, Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Bin Hj. Zainuddin, urged students to take this opportunity as a starting point for them to gain as much knowledge and skills as possible in order to create a better pathway for higher achievement.
“This is the starting point for the students’ excellence where they begin with a Diploma, Bachelor, Master and up to PhD level. I named it as the Journey to Excellence. A great strategic planning will ensure your bright future”. Said Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Bin Hj. Zainuddin in his remarks on ZOOM platform to almost one hundred of new students of May 2021 Session.
A total of eight (8) briefing sessions were shared to the new students including briefings on integrity, student portal usage, academics, and slots with the Student Affairs Department.
