STUDENTS ARE CELEBRATED BY THE YAYASAN TUANKU CANSELOR UCYP IN CONJUNCTION WITH AIDILFITRI 2022

On 27th April 2022, Aidilfitri celebration for underprivileged students of UCYP, KYP and KYP Advanced Skills became meaningful with the distribution of duit raya from Yayasan Tuanku Canselor, UCYP. A total of 140 students were selected, under the underprivileged group and B40.

This meaningful event was officiated by the guest of honor, Yayasan Tuanku Canselor Advisor, also the UCYP Vice Chancellor, Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Bin Haji Zainuddin, together with Encik Jalaluddin Bin Abdullah, UCYP Registrar, Puan Nor Sazlina Binti Che Ghazali, General Manager of KYP Education Sdn Bhd (KESB), Cik Nazatul Niza Binti Nordin, Academic Director of Kolej Yayasan Pahang (KYP), Puan Nani Masnida Binti Nordin representative of General Manager of KYP Advanced Skills, as well as UCYP / KYP management team.

Through his speech, the Director of YTC, Tuan Haji Ahmad Fared Bin Md Din highlighted that Yayasan Tuanku Chancellor is very proactive in realizing and accomplishing the objective of YTC, which is to improve in reaching those students with high potential in academic but financially incapable. As a non-profit organization, YTC is always striving and committed to helping Asnaf and B40 students across Malaysia, including students from other higher learning institutions. The funds raised are from the contributions from corporate agencies, and individuals that will be utilized for students’ welfare and development, to upgrade teaching and learning facilities and improving the quality of programs offered, especially in UCYP and KYP. Thus, this event is one of the initiatives from YTC to enhance the excitement of Aidilfitri celebrations.

In this regard, UCYP via YTC strongly encourages students to come forward and ask for help without feeling marginalized with their situation, because YTC UCYP is ready to provide appropriate assistance for them. YTC UCYP hopes that with the generous contributions given to these students, will ease the burden of those students in need.
