The UCYP Versatility Excellence Award 2025 (VE Award 2025) marked a milestone on February 14, 2025, as it debuted to celebrate the achievements of UCYP University students in extracurricular activities and personal development. Held at the UCYP University Auditorium, the event saw participation from six student clubs and associations, along with 18 outstanding students who excelled in leadership, sports, arts, and community service.
Adding prestige to the event, UCYP University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Muhammad Fauzi bin Mohd Zain, and Puan Norsazlina binti Che Ghazali, General Manager, KYP Education Sdn. Bhd., was present to recognize the students’ accomplishments. More than just an award, this initiative aims to inspire a culture of comprehensive excellence across the university.
A total of 10 prestigious awards were presented. The Outstanding Club & Society Award was won by Persatuan Pembimbing Rakan Siswa (PERSISWA), while the Synergy Team Award went to Dansa Kirana Dance Group for their teamwork and creativity. In the sports category, Soon Lip Kian and Nur Ariffah Qystina Norazmi were named Victorious Sports Icons, representing the best in athletic achievement.
For contributions to arts and culture, Amirun Akmal Hazeeq Mohd Nazri and Husna Hazwani Ruzman earned the Creative Arts & Culture Icon Award. Meanwhile, Tuan Nurhan Syafiy Tuan Nor Azham Shah and Nur Aisyah Athilah Amiruddin were recognized as Humanitarian Community Icons for their dedication to social initiatives and volunteerism.
One of the event’s highlights was the Aspire Leadership Icon Award, sponsored by Koridor Utiliti Pahang, which was presented to Mohamed Riedzman Ansara Suzairi and Radhwa Nasuha Rusdan for their outstanding leadership skills and vision for the future.
The success of VE Award 2025 was made possible by the generous support of its sponsors. This award serves as an encouragement for UCYP University students to actively participate in various fields, build leadership skills, and maintain a balance between academics and extracurricular activities.
