UCYP University proudly participated in the AppliedHE Xchange: UNS @ Bali 2025, an international conference held from 23 to 25 February 2025 at the InterContinental Bali Resort, Indonesia. The conference brought together academic leaders, researchers, and industry experts from around the world to discuss the future of higher education and how it connects with real world industry needs.

This prestigious event was hosted by Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Indonesia, in collaboration with AppliedHE, a well-known global platform that promotes excellence in higher education.

One of the key highlights for UCYP University was its involvement in the Panel Discussion Session 1: Bridging the Academia-Industry Gap. Representing the university was Asst. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Hamisa Bin Abdul Hamid, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic). He spoke alongside international panelists including Prof. Dr. Herman Saputro from UNS, Indonesia and Mr. Adrian Raymund C. He highlighted UCYP University’s commitment to offering industry-relevant programs, practical training opportunities, and community engagement efforts that prepare students to thrive after graduation.

In addition to the panel discussion, UCYP University also took part in the Elevator Pitch Session, which gave institutions the chance to introduce themselves and share their strengths in a short, impactful presentation.

Mr. Nazlan Mohamed Nazidin, Manager of the Student Recruitment Department at KYP Education Sdn. Bhd., represented UCYP University during this session. He shared our vision, achievements, and focus on student-centered learning, innovation, and global partnerships.

Other participating institutions in the Elevator Pitch included Sunway University (Malaysia), Adamson University (Philippines), Walter Sisulu University (South Africa), and Hunter Education (Newcastle, Australia); putting UCYP among a distinguished group of universities from around the world.

The theme of the event, “Where Education Meets Industry for a Future that Works,” matched UCYP University’s direction in preparing graduates who are not only academically excellent but also industry-ready. UCYP participation in this international platform has opened doors for future collaborations and partnerships that will benefit both students and the university community.
