AI Empowerment Programme Strengthens Digital Readiness Across the KESB Group

As digital transformation continues to reshape the modern workplace, institutions must strengthen digital capability from within to remain competitive and future-ready. Building a digitally skilled and adaptable workforce has become a strategic priority in ensuring organisational agility and long-term sustainability. Having this in mind, more than 60 staff of KYP Education Sdn. Bhd. (KESB), UCYP University and Kolej Yayasan Pahang (KYP) participated in the AI and Digital Empowerment Staff Excellence programme held on 19 January 2026 at Aqua Crystal Hall, UCYP University.

Organised by Centre of Digital Excellence (CODEX) in collaboration with the Human Resource Department and Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Branding, Communication and Corporate Diplomacy) Office, the programme was designed to strengthen digital competency across the organisation through practical exposure to artificial intelligence, digital tools and emerging technologies that can support greater workplace efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Led by Ms. Ts. Suriyani binti Sulaiman, the programme combined practical sharing with technology-focused learning, enabling participants to better understand how AI and digital solutions can be meaningfully integrated into daily responsibilities and organisational workflows.

The closing session was officiated by Madam Norsazlina binti Che Ghazali, General Manager of KYP Education Sdn. Bhd. (KESB), with the presence of institutional leaders including Mr. Hamdan bin Abd Latif, Director of Academic and International Affairs, KYP; Ms. Suhaila binti Haji Mukhtar, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Branding, Communication and Corporate Diplomacy); as well as Ms. Renee Faizura binti Abdul Rajak, Senior Manager of the Human Resource Department, KESB.

More than a professional development initiative, the programme reflects the KESB Group’s broader commitment to nurturing a workforce that is digitally capable, adaptive and prepared to navigate the evolving demands of an increasingly technology-driven environment.
