UCYP University Welcomes MUIP’s Iftar Gathering with PETAMA Students

The spirit of Ramadan was reflected in a meaningful gathering as the Majlis Ugama Islam dan Adat Resam Melayu Pahang (MUIP) hosted an iftar event with students from the Program Pembangunan Tamadun Masyarakat Asli (PETAMA) 2026 on 11 March 2026 at Aqua Crystal Hall, UCYP University.

The gathering served as a meaningful occasion to strengthen bonds of togetherness while celebrating the values of compassion, care and community during the holy month of Ramadan. Beyond sharing a meal, the event also reflected a collective commitment to supporting the wellbeing of students through thoughtful engagement and meaningful partnerships.

Also in attendance were Professor Dr. Hasan bin Ahmad, Council Member of MUIP; Tuan Haji Ab Razak bin Abu Musa Saari, Chief Operating Officer of Yayasan Pahang; and Madam Norsazlina binti Che Ghazali, General Manager of KYP Education Sdn. Bhd. (KESB), whose presence underscored the shared commitment of various institutions in supporting the development and welfare of PETAMA students.

As part of the programme, 63 PETAMA students received Eid al-Fitr essentials to assist with their preparations for the upcoming festive season. The contribution reflected a gesture of care and solidarity, bringing added joy to the students as they prepared to celebrate Syawal.

Through initiatives such as this, UCYP University continues to support efforts that foster an inclusive and caring campus community, while strengthening meaningful partnerships that contribute positively to student wellbeing and development.
