Taking a Stand Against Bullying: UCYP University Launches “Say No to Bully” Campaign

UCYP University reaffirmed its commitment to student wellbeing with the launch of the “Say No to Bully” campaign on 20 April 2026, bringing students together in a collective stand against bullying and in support of a safer campus culture.

Organised by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Development and Community Diplomacy) Office, the campaign encouraged students to take an active role in promoting respect, empathy and accountability within the university community, reinforcing the message that bullying in any form has no place on campus.

A key feature of the programme was a sharing session by Insp. Salwa Asyikin binti Senin, Criminal Investigation Officer from Kuantan District Office Headquarter (IPD), who attended as the official representative of the Kuantan District Police Chief. Her session highlighted the importance of awareness, early intervention and the collective responsibility of students in helping to prevent bullying.

Also present was Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Fared bin Mohd Din, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Development and Community Diplomacy), UCYP University. The programme also included a pledge “Together Against Bullying,” reflecting a united commitment among students to help build a zero bully campus environment.

Through initiatives such as this, UCYP University continues to strengthen a campus culture where student safety, dignity and wellbeing remain at the heart of the learning experience.
