UCYP University proudly hosted the closing ceremony for the Intensive Arabic Language Course (KIBA), a collaborative initiative with MARA and Yayasan Pahang. The event organized by Arabic Language Development Center, Al Bayt Al ‘Arabiyy marked a significant achievement for the students and faculty involved. This center, under the leadership of Tuan Haji Ahmad Fared Mohd Din, has become a cornerstone of Arabic linguistic and cultural education over the past two decades, providing a comprehensive learning experience that extends beyond language proficiency to include cultural immersion.
KIBA program, designed to span six months, has successfully prepared a cohort of 122 students for advanced studies in the realms of Islamic and Arabic studies. These students are now poised to continue their academic journeys at prestigious institutions in Jordan, including Yarmouk University, Al al-Bayt University, and Mu’tah University. The closing ceremony served not only as a celebration of the students’ accomplishments but also indicated the dedication and hard work they have invested in their studies.
In February 2024, a selected group of 100 students will initiate on a journey to Jordan to further their studies, a reflection of the program’s success in equipping students with a deep understanding and proficiency in the Arabic language. This achievement is a clear indication of the effectiveness of the Arabic Language Development Center’s educational approach and the strong partnership between UCYP University, MARA, and Yayasan Pahang.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including Professor Dato’ Dr. Muhammad Fauzi bin Mohd Zain, Vice-Chancellor of UCYP University; Dr. Mahadir bin Ibrahim, Deputy Director (Development) of MARA Pahang; and Puan Ainul Hayati Yunus, Chief Executive of Kolej Yayasan Pahang. Their presence underscored the collaborative effort and commitment that underpinned the KIBA program’s success.
As these accomplished students prepare to advance their studies, UCYP University remains committed to fostering excellence in Arabic language and Islamic studies. The university is dedicated to enhancing its international reputation in these fields, contributing to the global academic community.
