Annual General Meeting of the IKIP Pahang Alumni Association 2023: Mission Towards Growth and Collective Excellence

The Annual General Meeting of the IKIP Pahang Alumni Association, held in collaboration with UCYP University’s Alumni Relations Unit on December 24, 2023, was a resounding success. In a virtual setting, 100 alumni spanning various courses since 1999 came together, showcasing the efficiency of the format in securing full participant commitment.

Key objectives of the meeting encompassed the establishment of a new committee for the 2024-2026 session and a comprehensive evaluation of the Alumni Association’s accomplishments in the previous year. The transparent voting process, conducted three days before the meeting, yielded a diverse committee that represents various generations and age groups, aligning with the Association’s overarching goals.

The esteemed event, graced by Professor Dato’ Dr. Muhammad Fauzi Mohd Zain, UCYP University’s Vice-Chancellor. In the opening speech, he called upon the IKIP Pahang Alumni Association to actively collaborate in realizing planned initiatives to achieve the mission and vision of the association and the institution. He emphasized the importance of active alumni involvement in the development and progress of the institution, hoping that the spirit of loyalty and love for the alma mater would continue to burn brightly, bringing a positive impact to the reputation and achievements of UCYP University. Furthermore, he urged all alumni to continue contributing their expertise, experiences, and skills to support the growth and success of the institution.

Also present was Puan Suhaila Hj Mukthar, Assistant Vice-Chancellor for Branding, Communication, and Corporate Diplomacy, alongside UCYP University management team and the IKIP Pahang Alumni Association Committee for the 2021-2023 session.

Heartfelt appreciation is extended to the outgoing committee, led by Mr. Shah Asrol Afendy bin Shamsul Hanifa, President of the IKIP Pahang Alumni Association, and its members for their significant contributions during their two-year tenure.

As we move forward, may the ongoing collaboration between Alumni Relations Unit of UCYP University and the IKIP Pahang Alumni Association continue to enrich the legacy of our esteemed institution, UCYP University.
