International Institute for Islamic Civilization (III-C)
INTRODUCTION
Socioeconomic changes, globalization, stakeholder demands, and the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0) require UCYP to reassess its direction and refine appropriate strategies to remain a relevant and leading institution in education and research. The establishment of an Institute dedicated to advancing Islamic Studies, with a focus on Applied Shariah Studies, Ummatic Studies, Islamic Civilization, and Sustainable Development, is both highly relevant and timely. The restructuring of UCYP’s International Institute for Islamic Civilization @UCYP-IIIC will transform its role from a faculty offering undergraduate programs (Diploma & Degree) into a dedicated institute for research, training, and the dissemination of contemporary knowledge.
