Excellence Commitment to Integrity and Anti-corruption
KYP Education Sdn. Bhd. (KESB) has once again achieved remarkable success, particularly in the areas of integrity and governance. On January 18, 2023, KESB won the Silver Award in the Integrity, Governance and Anti-Corruption Awards (AIGA 2022) at the National Level. This is an esteemed award ceremony which recognizes and appreciates both public and private sectors that demonstrate a commitment to the culture and practice of integrity within their organizations. The award is an initiative by the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM) and was officiated by The Most Honourable Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, and attended by representatives from various public and private agencies and institutions. KESB was selected as one of the institutions eligible for the award, due to its effort in managing integrity and governance, raising awareness on integrity and anti-corruption, and participating in relevant initiatives and collaborations.
This accomplishment is evidence of KESB dedication to emphasizing integrity and governance aspects in all its management processes. It also demonstrates that the Pahang State Foundation (YP), KESB’s parent organization, places importance on cultivating and implementing integrity practices across its subsidiaries where almost all YP subsidiaries won awards in different categories.
As an institution of higher learning that always prioritizes integrity and governance aspects, KESB has implemented various programs and initiatives aimed at instilling integrity values and awareness among its students and staff. These programs include integrity awareness campaigns, integrity and governance management workshops, as well as collaborations with government and private agencies.
This award is another addition to KESB’s list of accolades, and it is hoped that this achievement will provide inspiration and motivation to all parties to continue to improve integrity and governance standards in their respective fields of responsibility.
