Donation of 600 ‘Bubur Lambuk’ by Adabi Distributions Kuantan Sdn. Bhd., Yayasan Tuanku Canselor UCYP, and Kelab Warga Kerja IKIP
During the blessed occasion of the Ramadan month, Adabi Distributions Kuantan Sdn. Bhd. collaborated with the Yayasan Tuanku Canselor UCYP (YTC UCYP) and the Kelab Warga Kerja IKIP (KWKI) to provide 600 packs of bubur lambuk for distribution among UCYP and KYP students and staff. The aim was to share the gratitude and blessings of Ramadan with the campus community and foster unity among the staff and students.
As a prominent food manufacturer and distributor in Malaysia that actively engaged in corporate social responsibility programs, Adabi Distributions Kuantan Sdn. Bhd. graciously sponsored the event held on April 6, 2023, at the Main Campus of the University College of Yayasan Pahang. Despite the hot weather during Ramadan, the dedicated volunteers from ADABI and those appointed by YTC UCYP and KWKI worked together to prepare the meal. This involved the process of preparing the raw ingredients, packaging, and distribution. Also present in the preparation were Mr. Abdul Rahim Mohd Nor, the General Manager of Adabi Distributions Kuantan Sdn. Bhd., and Mr. Ahmad Fared Mohd Din, the Director of the Tuanku Canselor Foundation, UCYP.
The distribution of the bubur lambuk commenced at 3:30 p.m., attended by UCYP and KYP students. Within an hour, 600 packs were successfully prepared and distributed. The organizers also implemented a convenient drive-thru system to facilitate the distribution process for the staff. Dr. Azhar Bin Jaafar@Ramli, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Development & Community Diplomacy), was also present during the distribution.
Adabi Distributions Kuantan Sdn. Bhd.’s contribution of bubur lambuk was a meaningful initiative to celebrate the blessed month of Ramadan. The collaboration between Adabi Distributions Kuantan Sdn. Bhd., the Yayasan Tuanku Canselor UCYP, and the Kelab Warga Kerja IKIP benefitted university staff, students, and those in need. The students and staff expressed their gratitude for the organizers’ involvement in the cooking and distribution process. It is hoped that such initiatives will continue, providing benefits to all parties involved and fostering a spirit of togetherness and care within the UCYP and KYP community.
