UCYP University recently initiated a significant visit to the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) in Cyberjaya, Selangor on January 24th, 2024, to strengthen collaborations in digital education. Led by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Muhammad Fauzi bin Mohd Zain, Vice-Chancellor of UCYP University, the delegation was warmly received by Ts. Nurazeli bin Osman, MDEC’s Head of Digital Entrepreneurship, and Puan Azlinda binti Hairon, Senior Manager.

Joining Prof. Dato’ Dr. Muhammad Fauzi bin Mohd Zain were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norasiha binti Hamid, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Academic, Ts. Suriyani binti Sulaiman, Chief Digital Officer and Puan Suhaila Hj. Mukhtar, Asst. Vice Chancellor (Branding, Communication & Corporate Diplomacy).  The discussion during this visit primarily centered around the integration of UCYP University’s curriculum with MDEC’s initiatives, aimed at enhancing educational value in the digital economy era.

Furthermore, the exchange of ideas and insights aimed to explore ways to enrich the educational experience and equip students with relevant skills for the digital age. Such collaborative efforts are envisioned to empower UCYP University to produce graduates who are highly competitive and capable of contributing significantly to the growth and sustainability of the nation’s digital industry. This visit also emphasizes on UCYP University’s commitment to staying informed of industry trends and fostering partnerships that drive educational excellence and industry relevance.
