On May 2nd, a delegation of 15 agents from the Anhui and Liaoning regions of China visited the Main Campus of the University College of Yayasan (UCYP) in Tanjung Lumpur, Kuantan Pahang. The purpose of this visit was to familiarize the agents with UCYP’s facilities and strengthen the relationship between UCYP and potential regions in China.

During the three-hour visit, the agents had the opportunity to personally explore the university’s infrastructure, academic facilities, residential colleges, and campus life. This firsthand experience will help them better understand and provide accurate information to potential Chinese students interested in pursuing studies abroad.

Apart from showcasing the facilities, the Chinese delegation also gained more information about UCYP and its academic programs. They had the chance to engage with officials from the Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Student Enrollment and International Office), led by Mr. Yung Leong Lam, to discuss registration, admission requirements, and student welfare-related matters.

This initiative is essential for boosting the confidence of the agents and subsequently increasing the number of students from China choosing to enroll at UCYP. By introducing the facilities and amenities, as well as providing comprehensive information to the Chinese delegation, UCYP  aims to attract a larger number of Chinese students to the university, fostering academic and cultural cooperation between UCYP and educational institutions in China.

Additionally, UCYP intends to promote the uniqueness and advantages of education in Malaysia to the Chinese delegation through this visit. The hope is to further strengthen the relationship between UCYP and China through initiatives such as student exchanges, academic visits, and research collaborations.

Overall, the visit of the Chinese delegation to UCYP presents an opportunity to introduce and promote the university to China. This is a significant step towards enhancing the diversity of international students at UCYP and reinforcing the bilateral relationship between both countries.
