5 August 2025, Tuesday

UCYP University successfully hosted the “Goal Setting: Holistic & Well-Being” programme, designed to support students’ academic readiness and mental well-being in preparation for their final examinations. The initiative aligns with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, emphasising mental, emotional, and physical wellness, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through strategic collaboration with guest speakers and alumni mentors from IKIP (Cohort 2011).

Held on 5 August 2025 at the Auditorium Hall, UCYP University Main Campus, from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., the programme engaged 450 participants from UCYP and Kolej Yayasan Pahang (KYP). The session featured interactive talks and group exercises (LDK) led by Coach Zack Zawani, equipping students with practical strategies for goal-setting, stress management, and holistic self-development.

The programme enhanced student confidence, motivation, and time-management skills, while fostering a balanced approach to mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Participants gained valuable experience through interactive sessions with professional speakers, strengthening their understanding of self-improvement strategies and promoting practical application in daily academic life.

By involving external professionals and alumni, the initiative strengthened strategic partnerships, demonstrating UCYP University’s commitment to collaborative, high-impact student development. Future plans include extending the programme to upper-year students, staff, and the wider community, alongside follow-up sessions for continuous personal growth.

“Goal Setting: Holistic & Well-Being” exemplifies UCYP University’s dedication to nurturing resilient, self-aware, and well-prepared students while advancing sustainable, inclusive, and partnership-driven education in alignment with national and global SDG priorities.
