UCYP University, formerly known as UCYP, has been a cornerstone of educational excellence since its establishment in 1992 under KYP Education Sdn. Bhd. Over the years, UCYP has evolved into a dynamic institution committed to producing the catalysts for human capital development.
Offering a diverse range of programs, UCYP University stands out as a comprehensive educational hub, providing diploma, bachelor’s degree, and postgraduate studies across various disciplines. The university organizes its academic offerings into four distinct clusters, namely Business & Management, Science & Technology, Early Childhood Education, and International Islamic Civilization.
From its establishment, UCYP University has actively engaged in international and local collaborations, fostering partnerships with institutions like Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). In 2001, the university expanded its reach by developing home-grown programs and establishing academic collaborations with renowned institutions such as Napier University, Heriot Watt University, and Yarmouk University.
In a historic development on October 15, 2023, UCYP University achieved a significant milestone by receiving official approval from the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, attaining full-fledged university status. Today, UCYP University stands as a hub of educational excellence, firmly committed to positioning itself as a recognized institution in the East Coast of Malaysia

These conferences, such as the Business, Management and Governance International Conference (BMAGIC), International Conference On Islam And Higher Education (ICIHE), International Conference On Innovative Technology & Science (ICITS), International Conference On Education (ICEd), and International Conference On Art, Culture & Heritage (ICACH), serve as platforms for intellectual exchange and collaboration.
UCYP University’s commitment to integrity and governance was recognized as KYP Education Sdn Bhd (KESB) received the Silver Award at the National Level in the Integrity, Governance, and Anti-Corruption Awards (AIGA 2022) by the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM). Furthermore, UCYP University stands as the only higher education institution in Pahang honored with the Excellence Tourism Education Contributor Award at the International Conference on Cultural Tourism and Education 2023 Malaysia-China (Heilongjiang) Cultural Economy Cooperation Summit (ICCTE 2023).
