A COLLABORATIVE ACADEMIC WEEK

‘Philosophy, Logic, and Literature: Discovering Russia’s Intellectual Legacy”

The collaboration between UCYP University, Malaysia and the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute, Moscow, Russia represents a significant step in strengthening academic ties between the two institutions. This initiative reflects UCYP’s ongoing commitment to global engagement and its vision to enhance learning experiences through international academic collaboration. The visit of Dr. Anna Sazonova, a distinguished scholar and researcher in Philosophy and Logic from the Pushkin Institute, provided UCYP students and lecturers with a meaningful opportunity to explore the dynamic connections between philosophy, literature, and cultural thought in a cross-cultural context.

The five-day program, titled “Philosophy and Literature: Exploring Russian Thought and Imagination, ” aimed to introduce participants to foundational philosophical concepts, literary traditions, and cultural perspectives from Russian scholars. The program sought to deepen cross-cultural understanding and encourage intellectual dialogue through shared learning experiences.
